About the role
We are seeking a Logistics Officer to oversee and optimise our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods and compliance with international trade regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate logistics activities, including 3PL management and freight forwarding.
- Utilise SAP for inventory, order processing and transportation planning.
- Ensure compliance with customs legislation, hazardous cargo regulations and corporate policies.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, sales and supply‑chain teams to align logistics with business objectives.
- Analyse logistics data and generate reports to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support digital transformation initiatives using AI tools.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field; Master’s/MBA from a recognised Egyptian university (e.g., AUC, GUC, Aim Shams, Cairo University, AAST) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CISCP or CSFFP are advantageous.
- Proven experience in logistics and supply‑chain management, preferably with 3PL and SAP exposure.
- Knowledge of international trade legislation, customs processes and hazardous cargo handling.
- Strong ability to work under pressure, multitask and communicate across all organisational levels.
