Loss Prevention Specialist

About the role

The Loss Prevention Specialist ensures the safety of guests, employees, and assets at Marriott Mena House Cairo. You will patrol the property, monitor security systems, and respond quickly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate EMS when needed.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and handle emergency situations.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and conduct interviews.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb unaided.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training, and confidentiality standards.
