LV Project Engineer

About the role

ABB is seeking a motivated LV Project Engineer to join its Smart Power Low Voltage Systems team in Egypt. You will act as a design authority, delivering engineering solutions for multiple projects while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to shape and deliver low‑voltage solutions, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
• Create work plans, cost estimates and ensure timely, cost‑effective implementation of project portfolios.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, staging, testing, installation and commissioning functions to guarantee seamless project execution.
• Provide engineering support by managing materials, drawings and documentation.
• Ensure all deliverables meet safety, quality and cybersecurity requirements.
• Participate in project reviews and technical discussions to drive design improvements and innovation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in low‑voltage switchgear design, testing, production support and material planning.
• Strong knowledge of Low Voltage Systems, IEC standards, EPLAN, short‑circuit and selectivity studies, automation and PLC programming.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
