Maintenance Engineer – Production Lines

About the role

Egyptian Packaging and Plastic Systems Corp is looking for a qualified and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its technical team. The engineer installs, commissions, maintains and troubleshoots production lines and equipment at customers' sites, working outdoors and travelling to client locations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, assemble and commission production lines and industrial equipment at customers' sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for production lines and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
• Repair and replace defective components and ensure proper equipment operation.
• Carry out periodic inspections to spot potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Provide technical support to customers during installation and maintenance.
• Test production lines after installation or maintenance and prepare maintenance and service reports after each visit.
• Maintain a professional relationship with customers and travel to customer sites as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Previous experience installing and maintaining production lines or industrial equipment is preferred.
• Age under 35 years.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and customer service skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
