Maintenance Technician

About the role

Coca-Cola is looking for a Maintenance Technician (listed as Maintenance Senior Technician) to keep the day-to-day operations running and to take responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the property. The role covers completing maintenance service requests, managing breakdowns, running the preventative maintenance programme and supporting 24-hour emergency maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all maintenance service requests and resolve breakdowns or malfunctions within set expense limits.
• Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Programme and follow up corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain buildings and utilities, and assist in monitoring outside contractors' work.
• Implement safety standards, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001, and support the Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) programme.
• Lead daily and periodic checklists, manage the plant maintenance master plan and machine history and scorecards.
• Plan and issue daily work orders for shift technicians and supervise external contractors.
• Improve spares consumption, coordinate spare parts specifications with the store keeper, and trigger technical solutions for chronic issues.
• Support site projects during design, installation and commissioning, and ensure high-quality handovers between operation and maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Ability to travel 0-25% of the time; relocation is not provided.

Required skills

• Plant maintenance and preventive maintenance planning.
• Maintenance SAP experience.
• ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 compliance.
