PQA Specialist (1 Year Contract)

About the role

Coca-Cola is hiring a PQA Specialist for a 1-year contract in Egypt. The role coordinates and executes key quality assurance functions covering governance, culture sustainability and organizational QFS maturity, with travel of 0-25%.

Key responsibilities

• QFS culture and capability: deliver GMP, HACCP and food safety training, lead the QFS Near Miss program, run Gemba walks and quality awareness campaigns.
• GMP: maintain and improve GMP standards, inspect and audit production and outsourced providers, follow up corrective actions and manage pest control.
• Performance monitoring: run quality assurance plans, risk assessments and CAPA reviews, use SPC and Cp/Cpk, manage non-conformances and support internal, customer and regulatory audits.
• Projects and validation: join project teams, validate new products, ingredients, equipment and processes, and manage change control.
• Food safety and regulatory compliance: support traceability, mock recalls, food defense and food fraud prevention, and investigate food safety incidents.
• EOHS: apply the EOHS policy, take part in near-miss reporting and inspections, and have the authority to stop unsafe activity.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience.
• Degree in a technical discipline such as food science, chemical engineering, pharmacy or science.
• Awareness of quality and the food industry, and basic knowledge of quality and food safety standards.
• Basic knowledge of statistical quality control techniques; knowledge of concentrate and beverage base manufacturing is an advantage.
• Good communication skills, basic digital tool knowledge, and English and Arabic proficiency.
