Manager - Employee Relations

About the role

The Manager - Employee Relations & Integrity Investigations at Majid Al Futtaim MAF Retail Head Office Egypt manages employee grievances, integrity concerns, misconduct allegations and workplace investigations across the organization. Cases must be handled objectively, confidentially and in line with company policies and labor laws, in partnership with HR, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee grievance and integrity cases from intake through closure.
• Investigate misconduct, harassment, retaliation, policy violations, workplace conflicts and ethics concerns.
• Assess case severity and business impact, and decide on investigation and escalation needs.
• Conduct confidential interviews and review documents, communications and HR records to establish facts.
• Write objective, evidence-based reports with findings, conclusions and recommendations.
• Work with HR, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit and business leadership to resolve cases.
• Spot recurring employee relations issues and recommend improvements to policies, controls and employee experience.
• Maintain case records, prepare management reports, track KPIs and escalate high-risk cases promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in employee relations, grievance management, workplace investigations, ethics or compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, labor laws and workplace investigations.
• Strong interviewing, report-writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
