Manager, Security Control

About the role

The Manager, Security Control leads the design, implementation, and governance of technical security controls across the organization. You will work closely with business and IT leaders to ensure that security measures are aligned with regulatory requirements and protect critical data.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to deploy and operate appropriate security controls.
• Update and support security controls for internal assessments, regulatory compliance, and data protection.
• Implement automation and continuous monitoring processes for information security controls.
• Translate business requirements into concrete security controls and assist in their selection and approval.
• Assess and communicate consequences of policy or standard violations.
• Develop and govern a comprehensive technical controls framework.
• Validate IT security controls, identify risks, and recommend new controls to meet compliance standards.
• Design procedural controls, monitor compliance risks, and track remediation progress.
• Identify improvement opportunities and communicate them to information security leadership.
• Conduct security assessments using internal tools and third‑party vendors.
• Support the Information Security Awareness program.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 13+ years of professional experience in information security.
• Proven experience developing and governing security control frameworks.
