Mechanical Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment essential for our building projects, working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare cost estimates for mechanical solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to meet project specifications.
• Oversee on‑site installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that arise during construction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including design reports and technical specifications.
• Utilize CAD software for design and modeling of mechanical components and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems used in construction.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Experience with HVAC and plumbing system design.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems integration in construction projects.
• Familiarity with construction project management software (a plus).
