MEP Section Head

About the role

The MEP Section Head will lead the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) discipline for construction projects at AlRabat Properties. Based in New Cairo, this full-time, on-site position ensures that all MEP works are delivered on schedule, meet quality standards and comply with safety and sustainability regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all MEP activities for assigned projects.
• Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Supervise and mentor MEP teams, fostering effective collaboration.
• Review, approve and validate technical designs and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations and sustainability standards.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to align project goals.
• Monitor quality control and resolve technical issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering and MEP systems.
• Proven track record in project management and delivering projects on schedule.
• Strong team-leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience with CAD software for design and analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of Egyptian building codes, safety regulations and sustainability standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience on mall or commercial building projects is mandatory.
