About the role

Degla Smart Primary School is expanding its faculty for the upcoming academic year. We are seeking enthusiastic educators and support staff to join a vibrant primary‑school community in El Hadaba El Wosta, Egypt. Positions include teachers for English, Mathematics, Science, Music, French, Physical Education, as well as school matrons and nannies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum‑aligned lessons for primary‑level students.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings and continuous‑professional‑development activities.
• For matrons and nannies: supervise student wellbeing, manage daily routines and support classroom staff.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience in the subject area.
• Passion for primary education and child development.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional language proficiency (e.g., French) is a plus for specific subjects.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural school setting.
