MySQL Database Developer

About the role

We are looking for a MySQL Database Developer to design, develop and maintain MySQL databases that support our internal projects and client solutions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, optimise performance and ensure data integrity and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop MySQL databases based on business requirements and best practices.
• Create schemas, tables, indexes and stored procedures.
• Optimise database performance through query tuning, index management and caching.
• Implement data integrity checks and security controls.
• Work with application developers to design efficient database architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in collaboration with technical teams.
• Perform data migration and integration between MySQL and other systems.
• Stay current with MySQL technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Proven experience as a MySQL Database Developer.
• Strong understanding of MySQL architecture and performance optimisation.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
