Operations Specialist – Last Mile (East Cairo)

About the role

Join a dynamic team that keeps Amazon’s last‑mile network running smoothly in East Cairo. As an Operations Specialist you will oversee shift activities in fulfillment, sortation or delivery stations, ensuring orders move efficiently from the warehouse to the customer’s door.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe working environment by spotting safety opportunities.
• Manage, coach and train associates to deliver high‑quality service.
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled according to quality and safety standards.
• Provide real‑time shift information to frontline managers and operators.
• Adjust labor allocation to meet or exceed forecasted plans.
• Collaborate with support functions to resolve process, safety, training and 5S issues.
• Analyze data and propose process improvements to solve logistics challenges.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, as business demands.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 lb, stand/walk for up to 12 hours and perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending and reaching.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
