Owner – Strategic Business Leader

About the role

The Owner will provide strategic direction and oversee daily operations of a leading contracting and general trading firm in Cairo. Reporting directly to senior stakeholders, the role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the company’s long‑term strategy and business plans.
• Manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Supervise project teams, ensuring effective budgeting, scheduling, and quality control for government and private projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and regulatory bodies to guarantee compliance with local laws.
• Monitor financial performance, conduct forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Identify new market opportunities and lead initiatives for expansion in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in contracting, construction, or general trading environments.
• Strong background in business management, strategic planning, and project delivery.
• Excellent client relationship and negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of regional market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to build, lead, and motivate diverse teams with a focus on safety and service quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
