About the role
Manara School is seeking a part‑time French teacher for the 2026‑27 academic year. The role involves delivering French language instruction to small, mixed‑level groups of 5‑10 students in a residential school setting in Hurghada/El Gouna.
Key responsibilities
- Teach 1‑2 French course sections, totaling approximately 3‑6 classroom hours per week.
- Design and deliver interactive, project‑based lessons aligned with clear learning objectives.
- Differentiate instruction to meet varying language proficiency levels within each class.
- Develop assessments, grade student work, and submit reports according to the school calendar.
- Collaborate with the Dean of Academics and other academic leaders to shape the curriculum.
- Participate in faculty meetings and comply with all school policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent evidence of deep subject knowledge.
- Ability to commute to and reside in the Hurghada/El Gouna area with reliable transportation.
- Experience engaging teenagers and supporting their personal development.
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, differentiated, inquiry‑based, and experiential teaching methods.
- Patience, kindness, collaborative work style, and fluency in English.
