Patient Care Coordinator – PSP (Egypt)

About the role

The Patient Care Coordinator supports and manages Patient Support Programs, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate assistance throughout their treatment journey. Acting as a trusted advocate, the coordinator removes barriers to care and enhances access to medical benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the line manager and program team in managing Patient Support Programs and liaising with key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate, complete patient files and ensure timely enrollment of eligible patients.
• Educate and coordinate with patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and support sites to facilitate seamless medication delivery.
• Prepare regular performance reports and maintain electronic records related to patient data and quality assurance.
• Participate in required trainings, report adverse events, and adhere to Axios SOPs and compliance standards.
• Perform administrative duties and use Axios’ Patient Management System exclusively for all program activities.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in a medical field or social work.
• 0–1 year experience in healthcare, scientific research, NGO, or related sector.
• Experience in data monitoring, logistics, or customer service is a plus.
