Personnel and Payroll Lead

About the role

Egypt Education Platform is looking for a Personnel and Payroll Lead for its Corporate Office in Cairo. The role oversees all personnel and payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws, and leads the personnel and payroll team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee records, contracts, personnel files and HR documentation, keeping them accurate and confidential.
• Supervise the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions and offboarding.
• Oversee monthly payroll processing, including overtime, bonuses, deductions and allowances, and calculate social insurance contributions, taxes and other statutory deductions accurately.
• Manage employee attendance, leaves and personnel matters, and ensure compliance with Egyptian Labor Law, social insurance regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and review HR Operations reports for management.
• Lead and supervise the personnel and payroll team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in personnel and payroll operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience handling payroll processing, personnel administration and labor law compliance.
• Experience managing employee contracts, personnel files and payroll processing.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HRMS and payroll systems, preferably Menaitech.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.
• Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills.
