Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Cairo)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Cairo, Egypt, within a modern community pharmacy network that leverages advanced electronic systems to improve patient care. The Pharmacist will ensure accurate medication dispensing, verify prescriptions, and provide clear counseling to support safe and effective drug use.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and verify prescriptions for appropriateness and interactions.
• Provide patient counseling on dosage, side effects, and adherence.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient profiles and documentation in electronic pharmacy systems.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and professional standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and support interdisciplinary care.
• Assist with inventory management, stock control, and ordering.
• Contribute to the implementation and optimisation of digital pharmacy tools and workflows.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service and respond to health‑related inquiries.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training activities.

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or higher) from an accredited institution.
• Valid registration with the Egyptian regulatory authority.
• Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including pharmacology, drug interactions, and evidence‑based therapeutic guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and patient‑counseling abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Team‑player mindset with collaborative work experience.
• Commitment to ethical practice, regulatory compliance, and continuous learning.
• Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy.

Required skills
