Pharmacist – Full-time, On-site (Cairo)

About the role

We are looking for a licensed pharmacist to join our community pharmacy in Cairo. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on safe dispensing, patient counseling and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medications.
• Review prescriptions for completeness, potential interactions and regulatory compliance.
• Provide clear counseling on medication use, side effects, storage and precautions.
• Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications and resolve medication‑related issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient profiles and proper documentation.
• Manage inventory: ordering, stock rotation, expiry checks and record‑keeping.
• Ensure pharmacy cleanliness, organization and compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers as needed.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in Egypt with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, drug interactions and dosage calculations.
• Excellent patient counseling and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational ability and commitment to ethical practice.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site, including shifts, weekends and peak hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software.
• Experience with electronic prescription systems (preferred).
• Basic computer applications.
