Pharmacist – Full-time, On-site

About the role

The Pharmacy is seeking a full-time, on-site Pharmacist to join its team at Doss Pharmacies in Cairo. You will be responsible for ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing while providing professional counseling to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and verify clinical appropriateness of each prescription.
• Maintain up-to-date patient medication profiles and monitor for potential drug interactions.
• Provide clear counseling on dosage, administration, side effects, and over-the-counter product selection.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
• Support physicians and healthcare professionals with evidence-based pharmaceutical information.
• Document interventions, participate in audits, and uphold regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) and a valid pharmacist license in Egypt.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug safety.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and basic English.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems.
• Experience using point-of-sale tools.
• Competence with standard office software for record-keeping.
