Plant Manager

About the role

Lychee is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily operations of its new Saudi Arabian manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for overseeing production, maintenance, quality, and safety across multiple product lines, ensuring seamless manufacturing processes that support the company’s rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and SHE compliance.
• Manage manufacturing units for Greek yogurt, fresh juice, natural juice, and peanut butter.
• Develop and control plant budgets, operational costs, and capital‑expenditure projects.
• Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and best‑practice methodologies to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure strict adherence to HACCP, ISO, and GMP food‑safety standards.
• Lead capacity‑expansion projects, new product development, and process‑innovation initiatives.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Create risk‑mitigation and contingency plans for equipment, supply‑chain, and workforce disruptions.
• Drive sustainability efforts by reducing waste and improving energy efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in budget management, cost control, and CapEx project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of food‑safety regulations and quality standards.
