Procurement Engineer – Facility Management (Cairo)

About the role

The Procurement Engineer will support the Facility Management team in ensuring timely and cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services. You will work closely with designers, suppliers and the project management team to guarantee that all materials meet quality, quantity and delivery specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor order status and contract terms, ensuring compliance.
• Manage product coding and data entry within the Odoo ERP system.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate prices and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with inventory control to assess and fulfil inventory needs.
• Evaluate pricing and delivery proposals, selecting suppliers that best match company requirements.
• Analyze multiple supplier quotations and negotiate optimal terms.
• Collaborate with designers and suppliers to finalize quantities and quality standards.
• Define delivery schedules, inspection stages and hand‑over procedures with the Project Management Team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
