Product Owner

About the role

Daftra, a leading cloud‑based SaaS provider for the Arab region, is looking for a Product Owner to bridge business stakeholders and the development team. You will shape product vision, prioritize features, and ensure delivery aligns with market needs and company goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into clear user stories and specifications.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on value, feedback, and market trends.
• Define acceptance criteria, clarify requirements, and support the development team throughout sprints.
• Create, assign, and track Jira tickets for features, bugs, and tasks, ensuring proper organization and prioritization.
• Monitor sprint progress, report status to stakeholders, and address bottlenecks promptly.
• Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and regular stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an agile environment.
• Certification in Product Ownership (CSPO, PSPO) is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Jira for project tracking.
• Experience using Confluence for documentation.
• Solid understanding of Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
