Production Associate Manager (Process Engineer)

About the role

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Production Associate Manager who will lead safe, compliant, and efficient daily production operations in a designated area. The role combines people leadership with hands‑on process engineering to drive safety culture, product quality, cost targets, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a zero‑harm culture and ensure compliance with EHS standards, local regulations, and site procedures.
• Coordinate risk assessments, method statements, LOTO, permits and mandatory controls with EHS.
• Lead incident investigations, implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Own area‑level quality KPIs, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Plan, schedule and execute production to meet service, cost and inventory targets while maximizing capacity and minimizing waste.
• Monitor and improve operational KPIs such as OEE, throughput, downtime, yield/waste, changeover time and labor efficiency.
• Lead daily operations management including shift handovers, Gemba walks, performance reviews and visual management.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering on process issues, preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Facilitate cross‑functional improvement projects using KHMS methodology, DMS, 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis.

• Proven people‑leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage multiple cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and data‑driven decision making.

Required skills

• HACCP and GMP knowledge.
• Site Quality Management System (QMS) familiarity.
• Operational Excellence tools: OEE, KHMS methodology, DMS.
• Root‑cause analysis techniques: 5 Whys, Fishbone diagram.
• Lock‑out/Tag‑out (LOTO) procedures.
