Production Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Production Engineer to lead and optimise our fabrication processes, including CNC laser cutting, 3D printing, and assembly lines. The role focuses on maintaining high quality standards, improving workflow efficiency, and applying Lean Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, program, and troubleshoot CNC laser cutting machines to ensure precision and minimise waste.
• Manage 3D printing operations, from material selection to post‑processing.
• Oversee assembly line processes, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules, coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Develop and refine SOPs, apply Lean Six Sigma to eliminate waste and boost efficiency.
• Conduct data‑driven analysis of production metrics for continuous improvement.
• Perform quality inspections and implement QA protocols to reduce defects.
• Ensure safety compliance, train staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain equipment calibration, troubleshoot technical issues and manage inventory of raw materials and spare parts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering, preferably in toy or educational‑toy production.
• Hands‑on experience with CNC laser cutting and 3D printing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and quality control standards.
• Experience managing assembly lines and workflow optimisation.
• Solid understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
