Production Segment Leader

About the role

The Production Segment Leader will oversee a dedicated segment within LEONI's wiring systems business, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This role combines operational leadership with continuous improvement to drive efficiency and support the professional growth of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the segment unit to achieve defined objectives and KPIs.
• Lead direct reports by setting clear objectives, providing instructions, and monitoring performance.
• Ensure compliance with standards, governance requirements, and process execution.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement measures to enhance team performance and service delivery.
• Support professional development through coaching, training needs assessment, and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Full professional English proficiency (C1 level) for presenting technical data to global stakeholders.
• 3–5 years of experience in production or operations leadership, preferably in the automotive or wiring systems industry.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams, achieve KPIs, and foster a safety‑first culture.
