Senior Project Manager – Engineering & Procurement

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex Engineering & Procurement (EP) projects in heavy‑industrial environments such as plants, mines, steel and concrete structures, conveyors and large equipment. Reporting to the CEO, you will be the single point of contact for clients, internal design teams, external consultants, OEMs and site stakeholders, responsible for end‑to‑end delivery, risk management and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of EP projects, overseeing engineering, procurement, budgeting, planning and execution.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams including in‑house designers, external consultants and subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain project schedules in MS Project, tracking milestones, critical path and progress.
- Control project budgets, cash flow, cost reporting and commercial performance.
- Conduct technical design reviews to ensure compliance with client specifications, standards and safety.
- Coordinate procurement activities – RFQs, vendor selection, techno‑commercial evaluation of machinery, equipment and plant systems.
- Facilitate client meetings, project reviews, progress updates and commercial negotiations.
- Identify and mitigate risks, variations, delays and claim opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC, HSE and relevant industrial standards.
- Manage documentation, deliverables, submittals and approvals, and support site mobilization, installation planning and commissioning interfaces.
Required profile
- 12–20 years of project management experience in heavy industry, EPC, EP, OEM or large‑machinery environments.
- Proven track record delivering complex engineering and procurement scopes on time and within budget.
- Strong commercial awareness, including cost control, contract management, variations and claims.
- Experience with industrial plants, mining, process facilities, steel/concrete structures and material‑handling systems.
Required skills
- MS Project (planning, scheduling, reporting)
- BIM, 3D scanning / point‑cloud workflows
- Autodesk Inventor or equivalent 3D design software
- Digital coordination, model reviews and clash detection
