Professor / Associate Professor / Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry

About the role

The German University in Cairo seeks highly qualified candidates to join the Faculty of Dentistry as a Professor, Associate Professor, or Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry (Operative Dentistry). The appointment will commence in September 2026 and involves both teaching and academic leadership within the department.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise practical and theoretical student sessions, including laboratory and clinical activities.
• Deliver engaging lectures and communicate academic content effectively.
• Monitor and mentor student portfolio progress.
• Update and integrate course material with related departments.
• Develop and teach interdisciplinary courses, electives, and complementary faculty courses.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in Restorative Dentistry or a closely related discipline.
• Several years of teaching and practical experience in dental education.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience working with culturally diverse groups.
