Project Director – Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Director to lead our construction projects in Cairo. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive‑level leadership and strategic direction for construction projects from inception through completion.
• Oversee project schedules, timelines, and milestones, implementing corrective actions to maintain on‑time delivery.
• Monitor and enforce quality standards across all construction activities.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive safety protocols in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Manage project budgets, control costs, and analyze financial performance metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
• Analyze project performance data and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and records in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience directing large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Deep knowledge of construction quality and safety regulations.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills.
• Experience in financial performance monitoring and risk management.
