Project Field Engineer

About the role

TrueNorth Constructions is seeking a full‑time Project Field Engineer to work on‑site between Cairo and the North Coast. You will ensure that daily construction activities follow project plans, specifications, safety standards and quality requirements while providing hands‑on technical support to the site team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to keep work on schedule.
• Monitor progress, conduct site inspections and resolve field issues promptly.
• Review drawings, method statements and specifications to guide construction methods.
• Track materials, resources and support project managers with planning, reporting and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, manage risks and help deliver projects on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Strong technical troubleshooting and field service abilities.
• Experience interpreting drawings and specifications and advising site teams.
• Solid project management knowledge for planning, scheduling and resource coordination.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with engineers, clients and site personnel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards and a commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using PDF markup tools.
• Basic knowledge of project management software (advantageous).
• Basic knowledge of CAD software (advantageous).
