Project Manager - Associate (German Speakers)

About the role

PwC's Consulting business unit is looking for motivated professionals from ETIC to join its German team on consulting projects in Portfolio, Program and Project Management (PPM). The Associate level covers project selection, prioritisation and resource allocation, coordinating projects within budget and timeline while managing teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support digitalisation and transformation projects for clients in commercial, financial services and public sectors, using agile and traditional methods and modern digital PPM tools.
• Contribute to the Project Management Office (PMO) and keep progress, risks, dependencies and budgets transparent across projects, programmes and portfolios.
• Apply established methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2 or classic process models with the team.
• Take part in an international team, helping grow the PPM services and expand your network within PwC.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration/Economics, (Business) Information Technology, (Industrial) Engineering or a comparable field.
• Ideally practical experience in project management, PMO or consulting through internships, working student positions or thesis work.
• Analytical, structured and team-oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Very good German and English, written and spoken (German at least C1, mandatory).

Required skills

• Interest in project management methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2, PMI, IPMA) and digital PPM tools.
• Initial certifications are a plus but not required; training is provided.
