Project Manager - Facilities

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a Project Manager in Al-Armaneya, Egypt, to oversee all aspects of building functions and guarantee the safety and functionality of its facilities. The role keeps buildings and facilities up to code, manages budgets and maintenance, and coordinates vendors and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgetary controls for programs, policies and procedures that protect capital assets through a coordinated approach to operations and maintenance.
• Plan and budget for maintenance, testing and repair of equipment and systems, and manage facility support issues and vendor quotes so costs stay within budget.
• Oversee routine maintenance, repairs and inspections, and liaise with external vendors and contractors for services such as janitorial work, landscaping and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards, and implement sustainability initiatives such as energy efficiency and renewable energy.
• Assist in developing and executing maintenance programs for the interior and exterior of properties, and run customer satisfaction programs for clients and vendors.
• Respond to daily work orders and special projects, use the CMMS system, and document and escalate reports on Authority Having Jurisdiction visits and corrective actions.
• Work according to contract SLAs and KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of facilities management experience.
• Facilities management certification is required; CFM, SFP and CPMM are a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office and CMMS are mandatory.
• AutoCAD and CAFM are preferred.
