Project Manager – Large‑Scale Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale building projects in Benghazi, including public buildings, airports and hospitals. The role covers the full project lifecycle from initiation to hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multi‑disciplinary teams and contractors on complex construction projects.
• Develop and control project plans, budgets, schedules and resource allocation.
• Review drawings, specifications, quotations, change orders and invoices for compliance with QA/QC, safety standards and building codes.
• Coordinate MEP and CSA works, finishing, firefighting systems and design processes.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and provide regular financial and performance reports.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, cost efficiency and high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, MEP coordination, finishing works and applicable building codes.
• Proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, contract administration and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
