Project Planning Manager

About the role

The Project Planning Manager will lead scheduling activities across a portfolio of major wind and construction projects. Working closely with operations teams and external vendors, you will ensure that project execution aligns with the overall master schedule and supports continuous performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and maintain project scheduling resources, processes and systems for major projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop and support the project execution schedule within the master schedule.
• Assist the Project Director/Project Manager in translating project learnings into performance improvements.
• Develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules, user profiles and security settings.
• Provide training to junior staff and P6 users, ensuring accurate and timely schedule information for decision‑making.
• Oversee project cost controls for assigned major projects and perform any additional duties required for successful portfolio implementation.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Construction, Management or Business Management (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and scheduling control roles.
• Proven experience in the wind industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong critical and conceptual thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, including implementation and project setup.
• Expertise in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and activity duration estimating.
• Strong schedule planning, analysis and construction scheduling capabilities.
• Knowledge of cost control and overall project implementation management processes.
