Project Planning Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Project Planning Manager to lead scheduling and cost‑control activities across a portfolio of major wind‑energy projects. The role works closely with operations teams, external vendors and the Project Director to ensure accurate, timely project schedules and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and maintain project scheduling resources, processes and systems for multiple large‑scale projects, aligning them with the overall master schedule.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop and support execution schedules.
• Transfer lessons learned from project implementation to improve overall project performance.
• Develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules, user profiles and security settings.
• Provide training to junior staff and P6 users, ensuring schedule decisions are based on reliable data.
• Oversee project cost‑control activities for assigned projects and report to the Project Director.
• Perform any additional duties required to support the project portfolio.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, scheduling and cost‑control roles.
• Proven experience in the wind‑energy sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and conceptual skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, including implementation and project setup.
• Expertise in schedule planning, activity duration estimating and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
• Solid knowledge of construction scheduling and cost‑control processes.
