About the role

The Purchasing Specialist will support the Construction Department’s Procurement/Equipment team at Elsewedy Electric. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers for equipment and vehicle maintenance spare parts.

Key responsibilities

Research and identify prospective suppliers and maintain strong supplier relations.
Prepare proposals, request quotes, negotiate purchase terms, and issue purchase orders.
Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and inspect the quality of purchased items.
Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field (preferred).
2‑3+ years of experience as a Purchasing Specialist, preferably with equipment and vehicle spare parts.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Fluent English.
