Python Automation Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Backend / Automation Engineer to design and scale the automation layer behind one of our flagship data products. The role focuses on building reliable, unattended mobile automation systems that collect, process, and analyze data at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation systems that programmatically drive real mobile apps.
• Apply automation‑testing best practices to ensure stability, repeatability, and reliability.
• Write robust backend services in Python (or Node.js) to orchestrate and schedule automation flows.
• Perform behavior analysis of app and user interaction patterns to improve automation resilience.
• Implement reliability features such as explicit waits, retry/backoff logic, idempotency, and graceful failure handling.
• Scale automation across multiple devices and parallel sessions.
• Integrate automation with AI‑driven decision layers and manage end‑to‑end deployment using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience building production backend services in Python or Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience automating mobile apps with a recognized mobile automation framework.
• Strong automation‑testing skills, including writing and maintaining test suites.
• Solid understanding of concurrency, error handling, and building code that runs unattended.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, Git, and Docker.
• Clear communication in English (Arabic is a plus).
