Python Developer (Odoo ERP)

About the role

We are looking for a Python Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain ERP solutions using the Odoo framework. The role translates business requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensures system stability, and drives continuous improvement across ERP functionalities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules, workflows, and business logic using Python and XML.
• Enhance existing Odoo functionalities and create new features based on operational needs.
• Customize and support Odoo ERP modules such as Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Purchasing, HR, and CRM.
• Build and maintain integrations with third‑party systems via REST APIs.
• Implement workflow automation, approval processes, and scheduled actions.
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning and migrations.
• Create and customize reports using QWeb, XLSX, PDF, and other Odoo reporting tools.
• Investigate technical issues, resolve bugs, write clean code, and participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments.
• Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of Python development experience with hands‑on Odoo development.
• Strong understanding of Odoo framework concepts (models, views, controllers, ORM, security, module development).
• Proficiency in Python, XML, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating third‑party systems.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, Git, and basic front‑end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) is preferred.
