Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Elements is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its fully remote engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring the platform’s reliability, security, and regulatory compliance in high‑stakes finance environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test suites using Python, Java (Spring Boot), and React.
• Validate complex financial workflows, security requirements, and compliance standards across the platform.
• Establish testing protocols for AI and LLM‑driven features to guarantee output reliability and safety.
• Execute security testing, API vulnerability assessments, and regression pipelines to protect sensitive financial data.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers and product teams to identify edge cases before production.
• Operate effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous environment with high autonomy.

Required profile

• Proven QA experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or regulated financial settings.
• Strong automation scripting skills in Python and experience testing Java/Spring Boot and React applications.
• Hands‑on experience testing AI/LLM applications, including prompt engineering and model output validation.
• Solid understanding of security testing practices and familiarity with financial compliance frameworks.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a passion for uncovering hidden edge cases.
• Ownership mindset capable of balancing rigorous testing with a fast‑moving startup pace.
