Quality Control Engineer – Software Testing

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of Blu EV’s software across web, mobile, and API platforms. You will lead testing activities from requirement analysis through release, collaborating closely with development and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, identify risks and define testing needs.
• Develop test strategies, plans, scenarios, cases and comprehensive reports.
• Execute manual and automated tests for web, mobile applications and APIs.
• Log, investigate, document and track defects to resolution.
• Maintain QC standards, improve testing processes and tools.
• Report testing progress, quality status and release readiness.
• Set up and maintain test environments, monitor systems and establish performance benchmarks.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, operations and other stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of software testing experience.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
• Proven experience in test strategy, planning, case design and defect management.
• Hands‑on experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing APIs, web and mobile applications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
