Quality Specialist – Cairo, Egypt

About the role

The Quality Specialist will oversee and support our network of local distributors across the Middle East, working closely with multinational pharmaceutical manufacturers. The focus is on pharmaceutical warehouse quality management and ensuring compliance with Good Documentation practices.

Key responsibilities

• Review, finalize, and archive quality master documents and SOPs.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure SOP compliance with the company documentation system.
• Support and liaise during internal and external audits.
• Monitor sub‑distributor activities, report deviations, and ensure timely CAPA closures.
• Handle product complaints, CAPAs, and recall activities.
• Participate in quality review meetings with internal teams and partners.
• Initiate and review quality agreements.
• Archive shipment temperature reports and report excursions according to quality agreements.
• Drive customer and supplier qualification programs to obtain necessary quality approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (preferred).
• Training and experience in Quality Systems, preferably ISO 9001:2015.
• Methodical risk identification with strong communication to management.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• High ethical standards and commitment to a diverse workplace.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
