Resource Manager – Senior Associate, ETIC

About the role

PwC's Egypt Technology and Innovation Centre (ETIC) is looking for a Senior Associate Resource Manager in its advisory technology line of service. The role manages a team that works with key stakeholders and onshore resourcing teams to forecast resource needs, identify skill gaps and deploy the right people to the right projects at the right time. It acts as a link between project teams and business operations, overseeing resource planning tools and workforce trends.

Key responsibilities

• Resource planning: lead reporting on workforce trends, run data integrity checks and cleansing in the workforce planning system, and maintain headcount budget and forecast data
• Budget and billing: report on resource allocation, utilization and operational efficiency
• Stakeholder communication: build relationships with colleagues across the UK and advise senior management on workforce strategy
• Risk management: identify issues that could affect delivery early and use escalation protocols where needed
• Process improvement: produce regular, standardised management information and propose data-driven improvements

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in workforce planning, resourcing, recruitment or project management in a professional environment
• Experience of line management
• Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills, able to handle a heavy workload under pressure
• Comfortable with systems and able to work independently across multiple workstreams

Required skills

• Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Planning and scheduling skills
• Knowledge of manpower planning systems is advantageous but not essential
