Restaurant Team Leader - IKEA Food

About the role

The IKEA Food Team Leader supports the manager in delivering the IKEA Food function's purpose and driving business development across production and dining services. The role focuses on offering irresistible food, creating a welcoming atmosphere and aligning with IKEA values and goals. It is based at IKEA Mall of Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Customers: serve with empathy, walk the store daily to gather feedback, act quickly on customer needs and help colleagues improve the in-store experience
• Commercial: support the store and IKEA Food action plans, present food attractively, ensure top sellers are available and well displayed, support range changes and initiate commercial activity during quiet times
• People: coach colleagues, share knowledge, promote the IKEA concept and a culture of diversity
• Steering the business: contribute to sales growth, meet agreed goals and challenge costs in a lean way
• Operations: comply with quality and food safety policies, report food incidents through CASY, keep staffing levels right and follow the manager's daily routines

Required profile

• Experience in a vibrant retail environment with a proven track record
• Experience serving customers and working in a team
• Basic English communication skills
• Familiarity with MS Office
• Knowledge of IKEA sales, merchandising techniques, culture and values
