Retail Cashier – Full‑time, On‑site in Cairo

About the role

The Retail Mart is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Cashier to join its Cairo store. You will be the front‑line point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth and accurate checkout experiences while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods, resolving any disputes professionally.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and resolve minor issues.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and pricing accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Basic math and cash‑handling competence.
• Organizational skills to keep receipts and checkout area tidy.
• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to work cooperatively with colleagues.
• Attention to detail for pricing discrepancies.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior cashier or retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
