R&M Electrical Technician III

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an experienced R&M Electrical Technician III to join its down‑hole tool service team in Cairo. You will work under general supervision to diagnose, repair, maintain and calibrate electronic components of directional, RSS and M/LWD sensors used in the global energy industry.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnoses, repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration and inspections on down‑hole tool electronics and related surface equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance, repair and calibration activities for LWD down‑hole tool electronics.
• Mentor and train less‑experienced technicians; act as a Train‑the‑Trainer for legacy tool lines.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements based on maintenance history.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with Halliburton standards.

Required profile

• Technical school certificate or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electronics aptitude.
• Ability to provide guidance, mentorship and training to junior staff.
• Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
