Road Design Engineer

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Road Design Engineer to join our team in Egypt. The position involves designing highway and urban road networks, preparing detailed design packages, and obtaining necessary approvals while adhering to regional standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design highway alignments, profiles, and cross‑sections.
- Develop urban road network layouts and coordinate with drainage engineers.
- Prepare comprehensive design packages for submission to authorities.
- Obtain design approvals from relevant regulatory bodies.
- Ensure designs comply with AASHTO, Gulf, and other regional highway standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 6–8 years of experience in highways and road network design projects.
- Experience in the Gulf region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc.) is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and value engineering knowledge are advantageous.
Required skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in Navisworks.
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO, Gulf Codes (UAE, Saudi Arabia), and Libya highway design standards.
