Safety Manager

About the role

The Safety Manager will lead and manage the organization’s safety program, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. This role is responsible for developing policies, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a strong safety culture across all levels of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive safety program.
• Stay current with local, state, and federal safety regulations and ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Design and deliver safety training for employees at all levels.
• Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near‑misses and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and coordinate drills.
• Communicate safety information throughout the organization and prepare reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant safety experience, including facilities safety.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations and best practices.
