SAP Basis Consultant – Cloud & S/4HANA Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant to lead architecture, migration, automation and optimization initiatives across modern SAP landscapes. The role focuses on RISE with SAP migrations, S/4HANA conversions and cloud‑based SAP platform engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RISE with SAP migration projects (Brownfield, Greenfield, Landscape Transformation).
• Drive end‑to‑end S/4HANA upgrades and system conversions using SUM with DMO.
• Design, build and optimise SAP landscapes on‑premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Implement SAP HANA HA/DR solutions and performance‑tuning strategies.
• Automate SAP Basis operations with scripting and DevOps practices.
• Execute technical cutovers with minimal downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Integrate SAP systems with SAP BTP and other cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud and application teams on modernisation initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, migration runbooks and engineering standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on SAP Basis engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading RISE with SAP migrations and S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Strong expertise with SUM, DMO, Maintenance Planner and Readiness Check.
• Deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture, tuning and HA/DR.
• Experience deploying SAP systems on Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of SAP networking, integrations and secure connectivity.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.
