Senior AR Accountant (After Sales)

About the role

Sky Distribution is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant to lead the financial operations of its After Sales department. You will ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of all after‑sales transactions while supporting cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting activities related to the After Sales department.
• Monitor the complete After Sales financial cycle, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of transactions.
• Review and reconcile service revenues, spare parts sales, labor charges, and customer receivables.
• Handle warranty claims, ensuring proper accounting treatment and supplier/manufacturer reconciliation.
• Approve and reconcile credit notes for returns, warranty claims, pricing adjustments, and customer settlements.
• Verify invoice accuracy, billing, and collections for After Sales transactions.
• Perform regular reconciliations between service centers, stores, and finance records.
• Ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end closing for all After Sales financial transactions.
• Prepare and analyse Accounts Receivable aging reports and monitor overdue balances.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an after‑sales or service environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
