Senior Architect – Campus Upgrade Project

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead a fast‑track campus upgrade for a new international school in Egypt. The role is project‑based, lasting three months, and requires rapid decision‑making to move from concept to tender‑ready packages and to supervise final on‑site finishes through handover.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the final on‑site finishing stages (snagging process).
• Verify that completed work matches drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Inspect paint touch‑ups, doors, tiles, fittings, sealants, glass, accessories and minor MEP issues.
• Conduct walkthrough inspections with client, architect and site engineer, logging each issue with photos and responsible parties.
• Assign deadlines, track rectifications and re‑inspect to close items, enabling final acceptance and payment release.
• Lead design for classrooms, laboratories, administrative areas, library, circulation spaces and outdoor learning zones.
• Run rapid site assessments to ensure compliance with Egyptian codes, life‑safety and accessibility requirements.
• Manage a compressed schedule with weekly progress reporting.

Required profile

• B.Arch or M.Arch with 5–12+ years of experience, preferably in education or public buildings.
• Strong portfolio covering concept through delivery, with excellent technical detailing and site supervision exposure.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Enscape, Twinmotion or Lumion and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Solid knowledge of Egyptian building codes, approval processes and fire/life‑safety regulations.
• Clear communicator who thrives under tight timelines and fast iteration.
